How BinaryTrans handles calculator input, contact messages, analytics, advertising, cookies, and deletion requests.
Effective Jun 21, 2026
BinaryTrans is designed so core calculator input stays in your browser. Text, binary, hexadecimal, decimal, and fraction values entered into the conversion tools are processed locally for the conversion result.
Calculator Input
Calculator values are not uploaded just to produce a result. The browser-side tools can convert short examples without sending the input to our server.
Contact Messages
If you submit the Contact form, we process the details you provide, including name, email address, request type, message, page path, and referrer. Use the form only for feedback, bug reports, page suggestions, and privacy questions. Do not submit passwords, private keys, production data, or sensitive documents.
Analytics
BinaryTrans may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand page performance, broken flows, and broad usage patterns. If Google Analytics is enabled for the site, it is used for aggregate measurement rather than selling calculator input.
Advertising
BinaryTrans includes reserved advertising slots to keep page layout stable. If Google AdSense or another ad network is enabled, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies according to its own policies. Ad slots are separated from calculator logic.
Cookies
The site may use local storage for interface preferences such as light or dark mode. Analytics and advertising providers may set cookies if those services are active in production.
Retention
Contact submissions are retained only as long as needed for support, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and compliance. Calculator inputs used only in browser-side tools are not stored by BinaryTrans for conversion.
Deletion Requests
You can request access, correction, or deletion of submitted contact details through the Contact page. Include the email address used in the original message so the request can be located.
